NBA: A Great Finish

,
So this NBA season has finally come to a close and some may say it had a surprise ending. I, on the other hand, expected the Celtics to win the championship this year because they had the best players.

It was a bad finish for the Lakers and not a good year to be their fan. The post season looked so promising but, as in 2003, they couldn't finish it off. I'm just glad I'm not a Lakers fan so I don't have to deal with that let down. I love listening to all of the Lakers fans out there whine about their team falling apart in the finals. It feels so good to watch them lose. I'm just especially glad they didn't end up winning so we wouldn't have to listen to them brag for the next year about their championship. I'm so sick of all of those Band Wagon Lakers fans that just like them when they're doing well. They deserved to root for a losing team and they got that.

I'm excited for the next season to start up where the Kings will be back in the top teams in the West competing for the championship. It's gonna be a good year for Kings fans all around and I'm happy to be a part of that, through the good and the bad.

That's funny because, correct me if I'm wrong, but you wrote on your own blog about how the Lakers would beat the Pistons in the finals. I'm confused...

No way dude, you're not getting off that easy. Not only did you predict the Lakers would win the championship, you did the most disgraceful thing possible for a former Kings fan, and jumped on the Laker's fan bandwagaon. Pa-thetic. You also predicted that the Celtics would lose to the Hawks in the first round, I will remind you. Yes the basketball gods are just. They also have a sense of humor, and are up in the celestial rafters looking down at you and laughing.

Oh, and it's going to take some hard core repenting before you root for the Kings again. I think a trip to the bishop's office might be in order...

Luke, you want some ointment for that burn?

You guys need to leave Luke alone. Never once did I believe Luke was a true Laker fan. I knew it was all for show. The guy was just trying to enjoy the playoff feel by rooting for a team that actually goes to the playoffs. When was the last time the Kings did much damage in the playoffs? Right, it has been a long time! Luke, screw the Kings, why dont you join the Warrior fans. At least the Warriors make their season interesting!!!

haha, thanks mike. I appreciate the backup. Although i dont know about the warriors. they also didnt make the playoffs this last year... I must say though that them beating the mavs in the first round was one of the best playoff series to watch in the last few years. That was great.
