Maps: Google vs Live

,
I use Google Maps daily... but a recent discovery for me is that if you want to see satellite shots of your maps, Live Maps does a MUCH better job. Just look at these two satellite images of my apartment complex in Provo for comparison... (Click on each image to be taken to the map)

Great generalization to promote the company you work for. Perhaps it depends on what you're looking for?

Oh, come on... at least the place I picked was unbiased. Google's campus? Really? Of course Google Maps has been quality images there.

But you're right, it does depend on where you look. From experience though, I've been more impressed IN GENERAL with Live Maps. Don't get me wrong, I'm just talking about Satellite images here. For anything else map-related I use Google Maps.

I was just proving a point. I'm sure there are just as many locations where Google has the advantage.

First of all, it's not "live maps", it's "bing maps". Get it right :).

And yeah, I call "small sample size" on that one. First place I checked google was better:

I realize that doesn't show google is better overall, but it does show that anybody can find a single data-point to back up an assertion.
